Port Elizabeth: Sandboarding with Short Boat Trip

2.Sandboarding with Short Boat Trip

★★★★★★★★★★4.7 · 62 reviews · 2 - 3 hours · from $42

Meet at A Taste of Africa Restaurant, walk about 200 meters to the launch point, then cruise the Sundays River to the Alexandria Dune field. Guides such as Eve, Robert, and Adam teach beginners on stand-up, sit-down, or belly boards. Allow 2 to 3 hours, bring sun protection and water, and ask about safety gear before boarding.

“the guide was good and the overall experience was great but sand boarding overall was unsafe. they didn't provide us with helmets or any protection gear, I did fall down hitting my hip and my head rather badly and another person in my group hit his face and could have lost a tooth so definitely did not appreciate that negligence considering we were beginners as are most people. overall experience was fun because the adrenaline was high but not happy with the safety protocol”
