Groups are limited to eight people.

You’ll ride a fully automatic quad bike across Atlantis Dunes with an English-speaking guide, learning how to handle steep sand slopes up to 50 meters high. Guides Bonnie, Clive, and Munya are associated with the ATV team. The one-hour outing includes safety instruction, scenic photo stops, and wide views, but you must bring eye protection and arrive early.

Caitlin, Marlow, Saxola, or another team member guides your poses and picks colorful backdrops while sharing Cape Malay history. You take home one Polaroid Instax photo and receive 40 to 50 edited images by download link within three to four days.

You ride an ATV through Atlantis Dunes for about an hour with guides Zwelakhi, Sfiso, or Luvo. Expect white sand hills, Table Mountain views, a safety briefing, a short photo stop, and a route through dune vegetation. Helmets, hygiene caps, and sunscreen are included. Permits are extra.
“Activity was gud but a guy by the name of Sfiso gave us an attitude telling us that our booking time will be delayed because they had black Americans we explained to him that we did booking online because we had a reasons but he asked us to go a talk to someone we did booking with until other guy I think was Luvuyo or Vuyo came and explain everything. It where we decided to continue with our ride other wise we were not happy the way we were treated as clients.”
Meet the team at Sand Dunes CapeTown and ask for DALU. You’ll receive a safety briefing, gear, quad-bike ride, and sandboarding session at Atlantis Dunes. The advertised hour also includes photos and admin time, so your actual riding time may be shorter. Groups are limited to eight.
“We we’re literally driven for 5 minutes to a spot to take photos and spend 20 minutes watching someone else’s photos taken and ours for 5 minutes, then handed over to another guide to drive us out. That cannot be worth R6000. I have done this activity before and it was worth the money. This time around, I am very very disappointed and feel ripped off.”

The ride includes a photo stop and dune bashing. The advertised price is $74 per person, but you must also pay the reserve permit of R250. Expect 30 to 45 minutes on the sand.
“ATV acrivity is always fun. Always!! But the booking clashing causes a lot of people to complain because agencies don't communicate in time with the owners or the bikes. I booked for a 1pm activity & the agency moved my booking to 2pm without informing me. As far as I'm concerned I think the bike owners should book clients directly & discontinue agency bookings. If it's not the wrong timings it's the wrong prices!!”
Meet at Atlantis Dunes near Cape Town for a two-hour sandboarding session beneath Table Mountain.
